🕳 Knowing your purpose gives meaning to your life 👉 We were made to have meaning. Without God, life has no purpose, and without purpose, life has no meaning. Without meaning, life has no significance or hope. 🕳 Knowing your purpose simplifies your life 👉 It defines what you do and what you don't do. Your purpose becomes the standard you use to evaluate which activities are essential and which aren't. Without a clear purpose you have no foundation on which you base decisions, allocate your time, and use your resources. Purpose-driven living leads to a simpler lifestyle and a saner schedule. 🕳 Knowing your purpose focuses your life 👉 It concentrates your effort and energy on what's important. You become effective by being selective. If you want your life to have impact, focus it! Stop dabbling. Stop trying to do it all. Do less. Prune away even good activities and do only that which matters most. Never confuse activity with productivity. You can be busy without a purpose. 🕳 Knowing your purpose motivates your life 👉 Purpose always produces passion. Nothing energizes like a clear purpose. 🕳 Knowing your purpose prepares you for eternity 👉 Living to create an earthly legacy is a short-sighted goal. A wiser use of time is to build an eternal legacy. You weren't put on earth to be remembered. You were put here to prepare for eternity. One day you'll stand before God, and he will do an audit of your life, a final exam, before you enter eternity. Therefore, think eternity to live in the light of eternity. ❣️ John 14:6-7 NASB - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” ❣️ 2 Corinthians 5:14-21 NASB For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; [15] and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf. [16] Therefore from now on we recognize no one by the flesh; even though we have known Christ by the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. [17] Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. [18] Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, [19] namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. [20] Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. [21] He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. ❣️ Romans 1:16-17 NASB For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. [17] For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”
